Carrots and Pea Pods in Orange Sauce
- 1 c
- diagonally peeled and sliced fresh carrots
- 6 oz. package frozen pea pods
- 1/2 tsp
- finely shredded orange peel (optional)
- 1/3 c
- unsweetened orange juice
- 1 tsp
- corn starch
- 2 tsp
- soy sauce
Add pea pods. Cook for 2-4 minutes more or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Drain.
Cook and stir over medium heat until the mixture is thickened and bubbly.
Cook and stir for 2 minutes more.
