My husband and I love caramelized onions. They are fantastic on steak, sandwiches, and warm salads. This takes a little time but the flavor is awesome !

Ingredients

2 large
onions, medium sliced
2 Tbsp
real butter
1 Tbsp
olive oil
2 - 3 pinch
kosher salt

Step-By-Step

1Cut onions in medium thick slices.
2In a large skillet over medium heat melt butter. Cook for a minute or two then skim off milk solids.
3Add olive oil, sliced onions and salt. Cook 30 minutes stirring often. You do not want to leave unattended.
