Ingredients

1 large
cabbage head
2 Tbsp
butter
2 Tbsp
all purpose flour
salt and pepper to taste
2 c
milk
3
hard boiled eggs, chopped
1/2 c
buttered bread crumbs

Step-By-Step

1Core and quarter cabbage; cook until done in salt water, drain well, chop into bite size pieces.
2White Sauce:
Melt butter in heavy pan or skillet,
Add flour and stir until well blended, add milk, a little at a time, stirring constantly to keep smooth.
Cook until all milk is used and mixture becomes very thick.
Add salt and pepper
3Mix cabbage with white sauce, add chopped eggs.
Put into a large baking dish or pan and sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs.
Bake at 350 F for 40 to 45 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
