Mix sauce ingredients together in a small bowl. Cover and chill for several hours. Uncover and stir occasionally
Slice onion 3/4 inch thick and separate into rings. Soak in water for 5 minutes.
Heat oil to 350 F. Combine flour and all of the spices. Whisk eggs and milk.
Shake excess water off onion slices. Dredge in flour, Submerge in milk and water, and dredge in flour again.
Fry until deep golden brown. Serve with sauce.
