Best Coleslaw EVER! (so I'm told)

This is my "go to" coleslaw recipe. I am always asked to bring this to gatherings

Ingredients

8 c
very finely chopped cabbage (1 head).
1 medium
carrot, chopped fine
1/3 c
granulated sugar
1/2 tsp
salt
1/8 tsp
pepper
1/4 c
milk
1/2 c
hellmann's mayonnaise
1/4 c
buttermilk
1 1/2 Tbsp
white vinegar
2 1/2 Tbsp
lemon juice

Directions Step-By-Step

Combine the sugar, salt, pepper, milk, mayonnaise, buttermilk, vinegar, and lemon juice until smooth. Add the cabbage and carrots. Mix well.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
