Best Broccoli Rice Casserole

I saw this because it was an adopted recipe. I made it the other day and it was yummy! If you want you can use Cream of Chicken soup instead of Cream of Mushroom. My husband doesn't like mushrooms even if it's just tiny itty bitty bits!

Ingredients

1 c
water
1/2 tsp
salt
1 c
rice, instant
1/4 c
butter
1/4 c
onion, chopped
1/4 c
celery, chopped
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s)
cream of celery soup
10 oz
broccoli, thawed and chopped
1/2 c
american cheese, diced

Step-By-Step

1Bring water and salt to a boil.
2Add rice; cover and remove from heat.
3Let sit for 5 minutes.
4Melt butter in skillet; saute' onion and celery until tender.
5In large mixing bowl, combine rice, celery and onion with remaining ingredients.
6Pour into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole.
7Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
