Rutabagas are absolutely DELICIOUS. Roasting is the perfect method of bringing out all the natural sweetness of the rutabaga. Everyone need rutabagas in their life. Rutabagas are thought to be a cross between a turnip and a wild cabbage. They are sometimes known as a yellow turnip.

Ingredients For roasting rutabagas

  • 1 lg
    peeled and cubed rutabagas
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • chopped parsley

How To Make roasting rutabagas

  • 1
    Toss 1 large peeled and cubed rutabaga with 3 tablespoons olive oil, and salt and pepper on a baking sheet. Roast at 425 degrees F until golden and soft, 40 minutes. Toss with 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar and chopped parsley.
