Ingredients For my own broccoli salad

  • 1-2 bunch
    broccoli chopped
  • 2 c
    chopped cucumber
  • 4 stalk
    celery chopped
  • 1 lg
    apple chopped
  • 8 oz
    cranraisins
  • 8 oz
    cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz
    nuts, i prefer smoked but any will do, i also put in more than one
  • 1 pkg
    fried and crumbled bacon
  • DRESSING:
  • 2 c
    mayo
  • 2 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    shredded parmesan

How To Make my own broccoli salad

    Mix all dressing ingredients well. Let set in fridge while preparing salad ingredients. May add salt and pepper, garlic, onion, any spices you like I like curry in mine
  • 2
    Fry up bacon and crumble, chop all veggies. If using large nuts like pecans, almonds, filberts or walnuts may want to break them up.

    Mix both together well and chill until ready to serve. I usually don't add the dressing until ready to serve as I prefer my bacon crispy.
