Juicy Brussels Sprouts

It is harvest season and we received carrots, apples and Brussels sprouts in our CSA. I put them together and voila, a new recipe! This is an enjoyable way to eat your sprouts!

Ingredients

2 c
fresh brussels sprouts, halved
1 or 2 large
fresh carrots
3 large
tart apples, peeled and cut,
2 Tbsp
olive oil, extra virgin
1/4 c
lemon juice
1/4 c
lime juice
1 Tbsp
brown sugar

Step-By-Step

1Cut carrots into bite sizes and add to Brussels Sprouts and bite sized apples.
2Saute in large skillet with olive oil for 2-3 minutes.
3Add 1/4 cup of lemon juice, 1/4 cup of lime juice and brown sugar. Cook until veggies are tender and juicy.
