Ingredients

10 large
organic carrots, peeled and sliced
1/4 c
dark brown sugar
2-3
cinnamon sticks
3 clove
garlic, sliced thin
salt & pepper to taste
2 Tbsp
unsalted butter
1-2 Tbsp
olive oil, extra virgin

Step-By-Step

1Pre-heat oven to 425.

2Place your sliced carrots into a heavy baking dish

3Sprinkle the brown sugar, garlic, cinnamon sticks, salt, pepper and then drizzle the olive oil. Mix well

4Cut up the butter and place all around the carrots.

5Throw these bad boys into the hot oven and let it cook for about 20 minutes. Stir around and cook for the remaining 15-20 minutes until nice and tender.
