- medium size zucchini, washed
- onion, large and peeled
- 1/2 lb
- mozzarella cheese
- 2 Tbsp
- 1 tsp
- onion salt
- 1/4 tsp
- 8-oz. can tomato sauce
- salt and pepper to taste (optional)
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2Cut zucchini into 1/2 inch slices.
3Thinly slice onion.
4Thinly slice mozzarella cheese.
5Cook zucchini and onion slices together in a covered skillet in butter until tender.
6Add onion salt, oregano and tomato sauce. Salt and pepper to taste (optional).
7Pour mixture into a 1 1/2 quart shallow casserole.
8Top with mozzarella cheese slices.
9Bake 30 minutes.
