Ingredients

2 lb
bacon, diced
2 medium
bell peppers, diced (any color)
2 medium
onions, diced
10 to12 large
mushrooms, diced
4 stalk(s)
celery, diced
4 medium
carrots, diced
2 medium
heads of green cabbage, sliced

Step-By-Step

1In a large Dutch oven, fry bacon until crisp over medium heat. Remove bacon with slotted spoon. Set aside.

2Add all the rest of the ingredients except cabbage. Sauté in bacon grease.

3When soft, add cabbage and bacon and continue cooking until cabbage is tender.
