I don't know how many of you remember the show called F Troop. It was a long time ago. But Larry Storrch had this recipe. I made it a little better. We love to make this when camping. But I make this a lot at home also. Hop you enjoy this.

Ingredients For bob w's f troop corn pudding

  • 1 14oz can
    cream-style corn
  • 1 c
    cornmeal
  • 6 slice
    bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 3/4 c
    butter milk
  • 1/2 c
    corn oil
  • 2
    large eggs. i have used duck eggs.
  • 1 tsp
    each, baking soda and salt.
  • 1/3 Tbsp
    chopped parsley and thyme to taste.
  • 1 4oz can
    diced green chilies
  • 1 c
    shreded colby jack cheese, can use chedder cheese.
  • 1 Tbsp
    paprika

How To Make bob w's f troop corn pudding

    Preheat oven to 400. In a bowl mix bacon cheese chilies and paprika mix well and set a side. In another mixing bowl, mix every thing else together. Grease a 6x8 baking dish put 1/2 of the batter. Then top with cheese mixture. Pour remaining batter on top. sprinkle a little paprika on top Bake at 400 for 30-35 minutes. serve warm
