A different twist on plain old broccoli. This recipe has an Asian twist to it. My whole family loved it. I hope yours does as well.

Ingredients

2
heads, fresh broccoli or about 5 - 6 cups - stems removed and broke into flourets
2 Tbsp
+ 2 teaspoons low sodium soy sauce
1/4 c
melted, butter
1 Tbsp
+ 1 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp
minced, garlic
salt
& pepper to taste

Directions Step-By-Step

Remove hard stalks from broccoli and break into individual florets.

In a bowl, mix the melted butter, soy sauce, garlic and brown sugar. Mix well so that the brown sugar is dissolved.

Place Broccoli into a microwave safe bowl. Pour mixture over broccoli.

Cover with saran wrap and place in microwave.

Cook for 6 - 8 minutes or until tender.

Toss well with liquid in bottom of bowl.

Salt & pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
