Ingredients

3 c
mashed, cooked sweet potatoes or 1 large can (29 ounces) and 1 small can (16 ounces) sweet potatoes, drained and mashed
1 c
sugar
1/2 c
melted butter
2
eggs. well beaten
1 tsp
vanilla
1/3 c
milk or heavy cream
1/4 tsp
nutmeg
1/2 tsp
cinnamon

TOPPING

2 c
rice krispies
1 c
chopped pecans
1 c
brown sugar
1/2 c
butter, melted

Step-By-Step

1In a large bowl, combine sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, milk or cream, butter, cinnamon and nutmeg; mix thoroughly.

2Place in a greased 9 X 13 inch casserole dish or a 2 1/2 quart greased casserole dish.

3TOPPING: In another bowl, combine Rice Krispies, nuts, butter and brown sugar, stirring until crumbly.
Sprinkle over sweet potato mixture.

4Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
