Sesame Forbidden Rice

I love this! I had to hunt to find it again so I'm posting my version here for safekeeping.

Ingredients

3 c
water
1 Tbsp
kosher salt
1 1/2 c
forbidden (black) rice
2 Tbsp
toasted sesame oil
2 Tbsp
toasted sesame seeds

Step-By-Step

1Bring water & salt to a boil. Add rice & stir.
2Cover pan & cook on low for about 30 minutes until water is almost completely absorbed.
3Let sit off heat about 10 minutes. Drizzle with sesame oil & stir to combine.
4Season with additional salt if necessary & garnish with sesame seeds.
