One of my favorite rices. I made a spiced shrimp, that I ladled over top. So, so good!

This rice could be served as a side with any meat. Yum!

Ingredients

1 c
basmati rice
handful
mixed vegetables, frozen
2 c
chicken broth
1/2 - 1 tsp
chicken buillon
1 Tbsp
dried, minced onion
1/2 tsp
salt
1 Tbsp
butter
couple pinch
saffron - crumbled

Directions Step-By-Step

Rinse the Basmati rice and drain.

In a medium saucepan, add all ingredients and stir. Bring to a boil then turn heat to simmer. Place a lid over pan and simmer for 15 minutes. If liquid is not absorbed, simmer a bit longer.

Fluff with fork and serve immediately.
