Ingredients For garlic mashed potatoes

6 mdred potatoes, washed and cut in half

1 1/4 cwhole milk
-
2 tspgarlic powder with parsley

salt to taste if needed

3/4 tspground pepper, or more to taste

3 Tbspunsalted butter
-
2 stalkgreen onion, small dice
- FOR THE BOILING POT

2 qtwater

1 tspolive oil

1 tspsalt
How To Make garlic mashed potatoes

1Scrub, wash, and cut in half the potatoes. (Leave the skins on.) In a large boiling pot, bring 2 qts. water, 1 teas. olive oil, and 1 teas. salt to a boil.

2Add potatoes and boil until you can easily puncture with a fork. (12 to 15 minutes) Drain into a colander.

3Add the butter into a large serving bowl. Pour the potatoes on top of the butter and allow it to melt about 2 minutes. Mash the potatoes down with a fork.

4Add garlic powder, salt, ground pepper, and milk. Blend with a mixer until potatoes are smooth and creamy. Add the green onions and mix with a spoon until blended well.

5If potatoes are too thick, add more milk a TBLS. at a time. Add more salt and ground pepper to taste if desired.
