The only problem with this buttery bowl of happiness is its hard to stop testing once they're done. My whole family loves them especially on holidays. Hope you like them too, Enjoy!

Ingredients

2 lb
potatoes
6 Tbsp
butter (for extra buttery flavor add 2 more tbsp)
1 c
milk or cream
1 1/2 Tbsp
salt (add less or more to your liking)
1/4 tsp
black pepper

Step-By-Step

1Peel and cut potatoes into 1 1/2-2 inch pieces, rinse and place in medium size pan with 1/2 tbsp. of salt & water over medium heat. Cook until fork slides in and out of potatoes easily, strain and then begin step two.
2Return strained potatoes back to the pan, begin mashing them with a potato masher until the clumps are gone. (you can also use a electric hand mixer if preferred)
3Add milk slowly while mixing along with the butter and salt & pepper to your preference. Once all mixed up put in a bowl and serve.
