My sister-in-law served these over the 4th of July weekend. Very yummy, and different from the standard baked bean recipes. Thank you to Kathleen!

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

1 lb
ground beef
1 lb
bacon - diced and fried half way to done
2 can(s)
(15 oz) pork and beans with juice
1 can(s)
kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can(s)
great northern beans or any other white bean, drained and rinsed
1
large onion, diced
2 tsp
apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp
dry mustard
dash(es)
worcestershire sauce
1 c
packed brown sugar
1 c
ketchup

Step-By-Step

1Cook and drain fat from ground beef. Cook diced bacon until about half way done. Drain fat.
2Place all ingredients in crockpot and cook on high heat until mixture starts to bubble. Then turn heat to low. Cook 4-5 hours.
3You can sub 1 can of lima beans for 1 can of pork and beans if desired.
4Can be baked in 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 - 2 hours, but haven't tried this method yet.
