Sweet Potato Casserole

This has been on my Thanksgiving Table for years! It should be dessert! One year I told my family I wasn't going to make it..there was almost a mutiny!

Ingredients

3 c
sweet potatoes, whole canned mashed
2 stick
butter softened
1 c
canned evaporated milk
1 c
white sugar
2
eggs
1/2 tsp
cinnamon
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 c
corn flakes crushed
1/2 c
pecans crushed
1/2 c
light brown sugar

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix mashed sweet potatotes 3/4 stick softened butter, Evaporated Milk, White Sugar, eggs, cinnamon & vanilla with an electric mixer. Put in casserole dish & bakea t 425 degrees for 15 minutes.

Topping:
Melt 3/4 stick of butter, mix with cornflakes, pecans & brown sugar. Put on top of casserole. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 more minutes OR when a knife or toothpick is inserted comes out clean.
