This is my momma's squash casserole. I know of no one who makes it quite like she does. My favorite is when she adds the crumbled pork sausage. Makes my mouth water just thinkin' about it.

Ingredients For squash casserole

2 cansquash, drained

1onion, small, chopped

1 cancream of mushroom soup

1 pkgpepperidge farm herb stuffing (8 oz)

1 stickbutter, melted

8 ozsour cream

1 lbpork sausage, cooked, crumbled (optional)
How To Make squash casserole

1Mix all of the ingredients together.

2Pour into a buttered casserole dish.

3Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
