Ingredients

2 c
white or brown rice
4 c
water

Directions Step-By-Step

Place rice and water in a microwave-safe casserole dish, leaving at least a 1-inch space at the top. (I prefer to use glass or ceramic.)

For WHITE rice: microwave uncovered on HIGH for 20 minutes. DO NOT OPEN DOOR FOR 15 MINUTES AFTER COOKING IS DONE!

For BROWN rice: microwave uncovered on HIGH for 35 minutes. DO NOT OPEN DOOR FOR 15 MINUTES AFTER COOKING IS DONE!

That's it! It turns out perfect every time!

(Note: Not sure how to adjust this for high altitude, I apologize.)
