Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Chop Green bell pepper, shallot, & onion save till needed to add to skillet. These are most of the items I used in this recipe.Cook chopped vegetables with ground chicken or turkey, and cook till no longer pink, breaking up any chunks of meat as it is cooked. Then drain any excess liquid from pan. Return to stove over medium low heat.Combine liquid smoke, molasses, catsup, mustard,& brown sugar, then stir to blend together.Add the brown sugar mixture & Pork N Beans to cooked chicken & veggie mixture, and continue to cook. Stirring to prevent mixture from sticking. Cook about 10 to 15 minutes. Then pour into prepared casserole dish. Bake in preheated 375 degrees F. oven for 1 hour to 1 hour and a half, till top is golden brown and bacon has cooked crisp.Top with Pre cooked slices of bacon if desired.Remove from oven and serve with your favorite entree and side items. I made Oven Baked Barbeque spare ribs, and Briana's Favorite Potato Salad to go with mine.

Thanks so much Rachel, it is nice to wake up to a nice compliment like yours. They really are very good, I am betting that they will become one of your favorite baked bean recipes after you try them. They are thick and rich and so tasty. Please let me know how you liked them should you get the chance to make them. God Bless and have a nice weekend.
