Ingredients

6 slice
cooked applewood bacon (crumble)
1/2
vidalia onion, finely chopped
1
garlic clove, finely chopped
3 c
fresh corn kernels ( 6 ears)
1/4 c
flour
1 1/2 c
half-and-half
1/2 tsp
sea salt
1/4 tsp
pepper
1 Tbsp
butter
1 Tbsp
chopped fresh basil

Step-By-Step

1Sauté onion and garlic in hot oil for 5 minutes or until tender. Stir in corn; cook . 5 to 7 minutes or until golden remove from heat.
2Cook flour in a large clean skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes or until golden. gradually whisk in half-and-half until smooth. add corn mixture, salt, and pepper; cook 5 minutes or until thickened.
3Remove from heat; stir in butter and basil. Sprinkle with bacon.
