Easy Au Gratin Potatoes

I make this as a side dish. You can also add about a cup of cubed cooked ham to make this a main dish.

Ingredients

2 1/2 lb
potatoes thinly sliced
1 medium
white onion thinly sliced
2 c
heavy cream
8 oz
sharp cheddar, shredded and divided
1/4 c
flour
salt and pepper to taste
1 c
grated romano cheese

Step-By-Step

1preheat oven to 375 degrees

2In a large bowl combine all ingredients except 1 cup of shredded cheddar. Toss until completed mixed.

3Transfer to a shallow baking dish and spread out evenly. Top with remained shredded cheddar and romano cheeses.

4Bake about 45 to 50 minutes until potatoes are tender and top is nicely browned. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
