We love the flavor of the smoked thick sliced Country Bacon that I get from Arkansas when ever I visit there, so I wanted to make my baked beans during this past holiday using it in a recipe, & this is the recipe I came up with. Lots of meat for my meat loving husband, & smoke flavor for that outdoor smoked grill taste.

I made enough so I could give one pan to my neighbor, as it made 2 pans of 9X12 Each. After simmering on the stove top, I then baked them in the oven for an hour & 15 minutes, they were so thick & rich in flavor, & we enjoyed ours, & the neighbors loved theirs too.
