This was my mother in law's, Betty, Thanksgiving side dish. There are never leftovers.

Ingredients

1 c
sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1-14 oz
diced tomatoes with juice
1-4 oz
sliced canned mushrooms
1 c
wild rice
1/2 c
diced onions
1/2 tsp
pepper
1-10 1/2 oz
beef broth
1/4 c
vegetable oil

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350. Combine all ingredients in a casserole dish. Stir mixture to make sure all ingredients are mixed well. Bake for a total of 1 1/2 hours, stir 3 times. Make sure all liquid is cooked up but don't over cook.
