Ingredients

1 c
white rice (not instant)
1/2 medium
diced onion
2 clove
garlic (minced)
1 can(s)
chicken broth
1 can(s)
8 oz. tomato sauce
1 Tbsp
garlic salt
1 Tbsp
cumin
3 Tbsp
vegetable oil

Step-By-Step

1In a large sauce pan, heat oil at med heat and add in rice and onion...stirring often. Once rice becomes lightly browned, add in minced garlic and stir.
2Begin to add in remaing ingrediants one at a time while stiring in between. When liquid begins to boil, reduce heat cover with lid and let simmer for about 30 to 35 minutes.
3Once rice is cooked, fluff with fork and serve! This recipe goes well with any of my Mexican Dishes!
