I found this online in my endeavor to avoid store bought convenience type foods. I keep a batch of it in my pantry in an air tight jar.

Ingredients

2 c
white rice is preferred but i use brown
1 c
broken vermicelli
1/4 c
dried parsley flakes
6 Tbsp
beef or chicken boullion granules
2 tsp
onion powder
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
1/4 tsp
thyme

Step-By-Step

1Combine all ingredients into an airtight container.

2Shake before measuring out.

3Brown 1 cup mix in 2 tbsp butter.

4Add 2-2 1/4 cup water & simmer, covered until done.
