broken thin pasta like vermicelli or thin spagetti

seasoned broth or water
1Micro the 2 cups of water or broth adding 2 TB of any packaged flavors after heating, Set aside. I have used dry spagetti mix, dry burrito seasoning, dry ranch dressing or italian dressing mix with great success.Leftover chicken stock with herbs is great too!
2Break up the pasta pretty small into the 3/4 c. of rice. Empty into a 3 QT. glass bowl and add the butter. Microwave uncovered for 3 min. or until the butter and pasta have browned to your liking. Remove with potholders and add the warmed broth. Put a glass microwavable plate over the bowl and return it to the microwave. Zap 12 min on high, let stand a min or two, fluff and serve!
