Easy Olive Bake

I love olives. So any excuse to add them to a recipe sounds good to me.

Ingredients

1 c
uncooked rice
2 medium
onions, chopped
1/2 c
vegan margarine
2 c
stewed tomatoes
2 c
water
1 c
black olives, quartered
1/2-3/4 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
chili powder
1 Tbsp
vegetarian worcestershire sauce
4 oz
can mushrooms with juice
1/2 c
vegan “parmesan” cheese substitute

Step-By-Step

1wash and drain rice. Place into slow cooker.
2Add remaining ingredients except cheese alternative. Mix well.
3Cover. Cook on high 1 hour, then on low 2 hours, or until rice is tender but not mushy.
4Add Vegan “Parmesan” Cheese Substitute before serving.
