Easy Baked Rice

I have made this simple rice recipe for many, many years. The beauty of the recipe is that you can substitute any broth to change the entire flavor of the dish. I use this cooled dish to make fabulous fried rice.

Ingredients

1/2 stick
butter
1 c
uncooked rice (i prefer jasmine rice)
1 can(s)
chicken, beef or vegetable broth

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350*.
2In a large Dutch oven or deep iron skillet, melt butter over meduim heat. Add rice and stir frequently until it begins to change color and lose some transluscency.
3Carefully pour in broth. Cover tightly with lid or foil. Bake at 350* for 25 minutes. Carefully remove lid/foil.
