This is the rice that I like to serve with my Crawfish Etoufee. It is tasty and adds a distinct flavor to the etoufee.

Ingredients

2 Tbsp
olive oil
1 can(s)
chicken broth
1 can(s)
beer, not lite
1 c
long grain rice, uncooked

Step-By-Step

1Heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan over moderate heat.

2Add rice and brown lightly, stirring constantly.

3Add the broth and beer.

4Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce the heat and cover tightly and simmer for 25 minutes.
