i got this recipe from my 21 yr old niece have no idea where she got it but we lov it

Ingredients

1/4 stick
margarine
1/4 c
canola oil
2 c
low salt veggie stock
1 c
long grain white rice
1 bunch
green onions,chopped well
1 medium
white onion,chopped well
1 large
bolb fresh garlic,chopped fine
1 bunch
cilantro, fresh,rough chop
2 large
lemons,juiced and zested
lots of fresh ground pepper

Step-By-Step

1put oil and margarine in med size fry pan heat til when drop of water added sizzles...add onions and garlic....cook 8-12 min jus til they start to brown
2add rice cook and stir several min til it starts to brown
3add lemon zest and juice and stock bring to boil... stir well cover cook bout 20 min til all liquid evaporates and rice is tender
4add cilantro and pepper fluff with fork
dot with pat of butter if u want serve
