Ingredients For volcano potatoes

    potatoes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 c
    hot milk
  • 1/2 c
    shredded sharp process cheese
  • 1/2 c
    whipping cream, whipped

How To Make volcano potatoes

  • 1
    Pare potatoes. Cook, drain, and mash. Season with salt and pepper Whip potatoes with enough hot milk to make light and fluffy
  • 2
    Pile into greased 8 inch round baking dish, mounding into volcano shape. Make a crater in the center.

    Fold cheese into whipped whipping cream and pour over top. Bake at 350 F about 20 minutes, or till lightly browned.
