This is very easy to fix. And oh so good.I love sweet taters and am always looking for new ways to fix them. I have been cooking this for abought 3 years now.

Ingredients For tipsy sweet taters

  • 4 lg
    sweet potatoes
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c
    jack daniel's whiskey
  • 1/2 c
    pecans lightly toasted

How To Make tipsy sweet taters

    In a 14" dutch oven place sweet potatos . Cover with water completely. Bring to a boil,cover and cooked until tender.,abought 35 min. Drane and cool, enough to handle,Peel off the skins.

    In a large mixing bowl,mash potatos with butter. Stir in suger,salt,and whiskey.

    Butter a 2 qt baking dish,spred half of the potatos and sprinkle with half of pecans. Repet the layers... Place dish in a pre heated ove(set at 325) bake for abought 35 min...
