The Best Cottage Fries Ever
These make the best oven cooked cottage fries ever. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
- 1 large
- baking potato
- olive oil, salt and pepper
1Scrub potato, cut into wedges.
2Soak potato slices in hot water for 10 minutes or cold water for 1 hour.
3Pat potatos dry. Lightly oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. You can use spray oil too!
4Preheat over to 475 degrees. Cover fries with foil and bake for 5 minutes.
5Uncover and continue cooking for 15 minutes. Turn potatos over and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
