Blend sugar, cinnamon and butter with mashed sweet potatoes until smooth and well mixed.
To form balls: Firmly coat each marshmallow with potato mixture until well covered. Then roll each potato ball in coconut.
Put balls in buttered baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 5-10 minutes or until marshmallow center is soft but NOT melted. These freeze well.
