Slow Cooker Creamy Ranch Pork Chops and Potatoes

pork chops
potatoes, medium
2 3/8 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
2 pkg
dry ranch dressing mix
1 c

Directions Step-By-Step

Chop potatoes into large pieces. Spray your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray and put potatoes on the bottom. Place the pork chops on top of the potatoes. Mix together the condensed soups, Ranch dressing mix and milk. Pour on top of the pork chops and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or on HIGH for 4 hours.
Use the extra sauce in the slow cooker as a gravy for the potatoes and the pork chops. Sprinkle with dried parsley if you want.

Linda Moser (aka Deenjoeysmom) I was wondering the same thing... "How much soup to use, is it 2 and 3/8 cans?" I did some checking, and other recipes like this one, state to use 2 regular size cans of soup (the 10-1/2 oz. to 10-3/4 oz. size). Some recipes also state, to use either cream of chicken, or cream of mushroom soup as well.
This recipe does sound mighty good! But... I wondered what size chops Kayde used when making this dish (1/2", 3/4", or 1" chops)?

This is a delicious meal! I made these yesterday for dinner and my family loved them. I am not crazy about cream of chicken soup (a little too sweet for me), so I added a half can of cream of mushroom. The chops were so tender that they just fell apart, and right off the bone. The potatoes were not overcooked, but done to perfection. I will definitely make this again.
