These are so easy to make and they tasted great. My family likes them for dinner with pork chops and apple sauce, but we have also had them for breakfast with sausage links and, of course, with apple sauce.

Ingredients For potato pancakes

  • 3 lg
    potatoes
  • 1 lg
    omion
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 3 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 2-3 Tbsp
    oil for frying

How To Make potato pancakes

  • 1
    Using a food possessor with the grating disk, grate the onion and potatoes.

    Put the grated onion and potatoes into a bowl.

    Add egg, baking powder, flour salt, and pepper to the bowl and mix until well blended.

    Fry in frying pan on medium high heat turning when browned, about 3 minutes per side.

    Serve with a dollop of sour cream on top and a side of apple sauce.
