I loved my moms potato soup growing up in
wva. I still make like her with a few added ingredents

Ingredients

5 to 6
medium potatoes
1 1/2 c
diced celery and celery leaves
1
onions, yellow, medium diced
1 can(s)
lg campbells cream of chicken soup
1 jar(s)
ragu cheddar cheese sauce
1 can(s)
evaporated milk
1 stick
butter, cold
salt and pepper to taste
water, cold
1 can(s)
carrots, chopped and drained

Directions Step-By-Step

In large soup pan combine all above ingredents except the cheese sauce. Cover with water to about 2inches from top cook on hi until starts boiling. Reduce heat to med simmer for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender. Add cheese sauce simmer on low for 30 min stirring once or twice during this 30 mins. Remove from heat serve with crackers or cheese biscuits and a salad for a complete meal
