A great receipe for leftover mashed potatoes.our grandkids LOVE these.i buy frozen sometimes but these are AMAZING.Leftover mashed potatoes do not reheat well,but this receipe wakes them up.

Ingredients For potato cakes

2 cmashed potatoes

1 lgegg
-
1 smonion or several green onions,chopped
-
1/4 tspblack pepper
-
1/2 tspgarlic powder
-
1 call-purpose flour
-
1 coil for frying
How To Make potato cakes

1Mix all ingredients except the oil into the potatoes.

2form into patties

3Fry in HOT OIL until browned on each side

4Drain on paper towels

5Can also add crispy bacon,ham,or shredded cheese,I like sharp chedder or fresh Parmesan sometimes .
