|1/4 c||butter, softened|
|1 tsp||vanilla extract|
|1/2 c||packed brown sugar|
|1/2 c||chopped pecans|
|1/4 c||all-purpose flour|
|2 Tbsp||cold butter|

I got this from Taste of Home's Holiday Recipes years ago and use it every Thanksgiving. I'm not allowed to change anything in it or the kids can tell immediately and start a loud protest.
In a mixing bowl, beat sweet potatoes, sugar,milk, softened butter, eggs,salt, and vanilla until smooth.
Transfer to a greased 2-quart baking dish.
Topping: In a small bowl,combine brown sugar,pecans and flour; cut in cold butter until crumbley. Sprinkle over potato mixture.
Bake, uncovered, at 325 for 49-50 minutes or until golden brown.
