3 ozcream cheese, cubed

4 cfrozen southern-style hash brown potatoes or potatoes o'brien

1/3 cshredded cheddar cheese
How To Make *** mom's potatoes au gratin #2 ***

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease 1 qt casserole dish.

2In 1 qt saucepan over medium heat, cook onion until tender. Stir in soup, cream cheese, stir until smooth & hot.

3In casserole dish, alternate layers of frozen potatoes & hot cream sauce, ending with sauce layer. Cover & bake 45 minutes or until sauce & potatoes are tender. Remove from oven & sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
