Ingredients For loaded mashed potatoes

  • 5 lb
    potatoes peeled, cubed
  • 3/4 c
    sour cream
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 lb
    sliced bacon cooked, crumbled

How To Make loaded mashed potatoes

  • 1
    Place potatoes in a dutch oven and cover with water; bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover and cook for 15-20 minutes or until tender. Drain and place in a mixing bowl.

    Add the sour cream, milk, butter, salt, and pepper. Beat on medium-low speed until light and fluffy. Stir in 2 cups cheese and bacon.

    Transfer to a greased 3 quart baking dish. Top with remaining cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350* for 30 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
