Mmmmmmmmmmmm! You can also use Amaretto in this instead of the Kahlua. Either one....yummy!

Ingredients For kahlua candied sweet potatoes

4 lgsweet potatoes

1 stickbutter
-
1/2 cdark brown sugar, firmly packed

1 ckahlua coffee liqueur

marshmallows, mini
How To Make kahlua candied sweet potatoes

1Boil potatoes until tender, about 20 - 30 minutes. When cool enough to handle, peel & chop into cubes.

2In a skillet & heat to medium, melt butter & sugar until sugar is dissolved. Add 1/2 C kahlua, stir & cook 1 minute. Add potatoes, stir to coat on all sides. Cover & reduce heat to low; cook 15 minutes.

3Preheat broiler. Pour all into a greased baking dish & pour over remaining kahlua evenly over potatoes. Top with mini marhmallows. Broil 2 - 3 minutes for marshmallows to brown. Watch carefully so they don't burn.
