Easter dinner is not complete without these taters on the table. The pair well with ham. They are thick, rich and cheesy. You can use plain cubed hash brown potatoes but I love to use the O'Brien potatoes with onions and peppers. Recipe is from my mama and the picture is mine.

Ingredients For hash brown casserole-annette's

  • 2 lb
    o'brien potatoes (cubed hash browns with onions and peppers)
  • 1 can
    cream of celery soup
  • 1 can
    cream of potato soup
  • 12 oz
    sour cream
  • 3 c
    cheddar or colby jack cheese, shredded
  • 2 Tbsp
    onion, chopped (if using regular cubed hash browns)
  • salt and pepper

How To Make hash brown casserole-annette's

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 300°F. Spray 9x13 or casserole with Pam.

    Mix all ingredient minus 2 cups of cheese. Pour into pan. Top with remaining 2 cups cheese.

    Bake for 1 1/2 hours until cheese is golden brown. Enjoy!
