My mom and I were going through some recipes that were my grandmas and my great aunts. My mom found this one and it is amazing. My grandma didn't put how many it serves, but when I was growing up she use to make this for us.

Ingredients For grandma's scalloped potatoes

  • 2 lb
    hash brown potatoes
  • 1/2 c
    butter, melted
  • 1 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onions
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pt
    sour cream
  • 2 c
    grated cheddar cheese

How To Make grandma's scalloped potatoes

    1.Mix together in a large bowl the hash browns, salt, pepper, onion, cream of chicken soup, sour cream and the cheese.

    2.Put in a casserole dish and top with bread crumbs

    3.Drizzle the melted butter over the top

    4.Bake at 325 for 45 mins or until top is brown and bubbly.
