Homemade Hash browns

Very easy dish to make. (If you use the garlic, saute with the onions and potatoes.)

Ingredients

1 Tbsp
grapeseed oil
1 small
yellow onion, grated
1 medium
potatoe, peeled and grated (any type)
1 1/2 c
montasio cheese, shredded
salt and pepper, taste
1 pinch
garlic (optional)

Step-By-Step

1Heat olive oil. Add onion and potato. Cook until they begin to brown.
2Evenly spread the shredded cheese over the mix - softly blend into the mixture. Continue to cook until the frico sets up.
3Flip the frico and cook on the other side until the frico sets up again. Cook until a nice golden brown.
